[Today’s Prayer] Hamas proposes 'phased end to war' at negotiation table... Israel refuses to participate
Hamas Cairo: “The end of the war must be guaranteed”… Israel: “There must be a positive signal”
Resident evacuation plan notified to the U.S. in case of Rafa attack... “Operation soon” preview.
The Palestinian armed faction Hamas demanded a "phased end to the war" ranging from a temporary ceasefire to an end to the war in the Gaza negotiations that resumed in Cairo, Egypt on the 4th (local time).
A Hamas source said in an interview with Xinhua News Agency reported on the same day that Hamas will reach an agreement with Israel on a negotiation plan that will lead to a complete end to the war "step by step."
The source also emphasized that there must be a clear international guarantee that Israel will adhere to the ceasefire and completely end the war.
The source did not disclose specific terms of the negotiation plan. However, he noted that the Hamas delegation that arrived in Cairo that day must clearly define and discuss specific issues.
Israel has not yet responded to Hamas' proposal.
Israel delivered a new ceasefire plan to Hamas through Egypt on the 26th of last month, but did not come directly to the Cairo conference hall.
Israeli officials said they would only go to Cairo if there was "positive movement" on a ceasefire, AFP reported.
The official added, “Tough and long negotiations are expected.”
Although the full text of the negotiation plan has not been made public, it is said to include the exchange of 33 hostages, including women, the elderly, and patients, for 900 Palestinians imprisoned in Egyptian prisons, and a ceasefire for approximately 40 days.
In addition, Israel, which had previously refused a permanent ceasefire, reportedly left room for compromise, saying it could discuss 'restoration of sustainable tranquility.'
Meanwhile, it was reported that Israel had notified the U.S. government and relief organizations of its plan to move civilians ahead of Operation Rafah, the southernmost part of Gaza.
According to Politico, a U.S. political media outlet, the Israeli military recently announced to the U.S. government and aid organizations operating in Rafah its plan to move Gaza residents from Rafah to al-Mawash in the south.
The Israeli military has told aid groups that Operation Rafah will get underway "soon," sources said. The specific date was not disclosed.

He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that he may judge his people: “Gather to me this consecrated people, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” And the heavens proclaim his righteousness, for he is a God of justice. Selah (Psalms 50:4-6)
Despite the involvement of many mediators in negotiating a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, we hear that there are many difficulties in negotiations. There is also news that there could be an Israeli attack on Rafa in Gaza, even as ceasefire negotiations is progress.
