[Today's Prayer] Gaza Residents Protest Again for 'Hamas Step Down' After 3 Weeks

On the 16th (local time), Israeli media outlet Ynet reported that Palestinian residents in the Gaza Strip resumed large-scale protests against the rule of the armed group Hamas.

According to videos that spread on social media that day, hundreds of residents gathered in Beitrahia, northern Gaza, chanting slogans such as "For Unity, Against Terror," "We Want to Live in Peace," and "Gaza is Being Humiliated," and demanding the opening of border checkpoints.

Children also participated in the protest, holding signs that read "We Want to Learn."

During the 18-month-long war in the Gaza Strip, protests against Hamas first took place in Beitrahia about 3 weeks ago, on the 25th of last month. They spread to Gaza City, Jabalia, Khan Yunis, etc. for several days, but were suppressed strongly by Hamas, causing a lull for a while.

At least six protesters were executed by Hamas, and there were also reports of them being beaten or tortured in public places.

Do not drag me away with the wicked and the evildoers, who speak peace to their neighbors, but wickedness is in their hearts. Repay them according to the evil of their works and their deeds; repay them according to the work of their hands; repay them according to their due (Psalm 28:3-4)

We hear news that Palestinian residents have resumed large-scale protests against the rule of Hamas, an armed group in the Gaza Strip, after three weeks.

How sad is it that even children participated in the protests, holding signs that said, “We want to learn,” along with those who oppose terrorism and seek peace?

Now that Hamas’ true colors, which have hidden their evil and committed various evil deeds in the Gaza Strip, which needs peace the most, are being exposed one by one, we pray that the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the righteous retribution of Jehovah God the Father will be bestowed.

May all the things Hamas has done by taking the souls of the Gaza Strip hostage so far be repaid as they deserve, and may the day come quickly when the prayers of the world church are answered.

May the local Palestinian church come forward so that the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who frees the Palestinian people and calls them true children of God, may be permitted throughout the Gaza Strip, and may the local Israeli churches also serve with material goods and prayers so that the peace of Jerusalem may come at the same time.

In this way, may the true peace and blessing of God come upon the Gaza Strip and the entire Palestine, may the last disciples be established together with the people of Israel, and may the year of grace come when the last revival is spread among the nations!
