[Today's Prayer] "Come Home"... Israel Urges Jews Living in Western Countries to Return

After the shooting incident at a Jewish festival in Sydney, Australia, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar urged Jews living in Western countries to "come home (to Israel)".

According to AFP and The Times of Israel, on the 21st (local time), Saar said at an event celebrating the last day of the Jewish festival of Hanukkah, "Jews have the right to live safely anywhere. But we are well aware of what is happening now." He added, "Today, Jews are being hunted all over the world."

Saar then exclaimed, "To the Jews of India, Australia, France, Canada, and Belgium: Come to the land of Israel, your true homeland! Come home!"

Saar said, "We are waiting for you with open arms in the land of the Jewish people's true homeland. Why are you raising your children in this atmosphere? Come to the land of Israel, the state of our ancestors, with your family."

Earlier, on the first day of the Hanukkah festival, around 6:45 PM on the 14th, a shooting incident occurred near Bondi Beach, a popular tourist attraction in eastern Sydney, in which Sajid Akram (50) and his son Naveed Akram (24), both of Indian origin, were killed.

It is believed that the perpetrators were influenced by the ideology of the Islamic extremist group Islamic State (IS).

Since its establishment, Israel has been implementing a policy of encouraging the immigration of Jewish compatriots to their homeland.

Amid the worldwide hatred and attacks on the Jewish community, we are concerned and saddened, but we pray that God will not abandon Israel and will continue to protect and guard it like a precious jewel.

May the people realize that the true place they should return to is not the land of their physical birth, Israel, but the eternal kingdom of God where there is no suffering or sorrow, ruled by Jesus Christ, the Savior of Israel.

Although there are still many conflicts and disputes in and around Israel, we pray that the church in Israel will first obey the new commandment given by Jesus and show love to all nations with the love Jesus commanded.

May we see a history where all nations repent of their sins against Israel and return to Jesus, and now rise up as the army of God to overcome the final era with the hope of eternal heaven.

May the last disciples of Jesus, who endure all things with His love in Israel, arise and revive all nations!
