[Today’s Prayer] Bombing at a market in northern Syria... “Eight people died and about 20 were injured.”
A car bomb exploded in a market located near the Turkiye border area in northern Syria. Local aid and human rights organizations reported that at least 7 to 8 people were killed and more than 20 were injured.
According to AFP, Reuters, and the British BBC on the 31st of last month (local time), a car bomb exploded in a market in Azaz village, Aleppo Province, in the middle of the night, shortly after midnight.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a group that monitors the Syrian civil war, said, "A car bomb exploded in the middle of the market, killing eight people and injuring 23."
Local civilian rescue group 'White Helmets' said at least seven people, including two children, were killed in the attack and several others were injured.

The group said to have carried out this attack has not yet been identified.
Azaz, where the car bomb attack occurred, is the headquarters of the 'Syrian Transitional Government', a pro-Turkish militia, and is close to the Turkic border and is considered a strategic point as it passes the supply line.
Areas controlled by the Syrian transitional government, such as Azaz, are places where bomb attacks targeting civilians often occur.
In 2017, about 40 people were killed in a car bomb attack carried out by the Islamic State (IS), which once controlled the Azaz region.

“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.” (Colossians 3:15)
We still hear news of terrorism occurring and innocent civilians being sacrificed due to internal conflict in Syria.
Lord, the Father of Syria, please have mercy on the Syrian people, who live in fear and pain despite being their own country due to constant civil war and terrorism.
May you comfort the families left behind and let the power of death that binds them be broken by the power of Jesus.
We believe that Jesus, who conquered death, loves and looks over the Syrian people until the end.
Through the Lord's workers, may Jesus, who is resurrection and life, visit this land that seems like a barren land and bring forth the fruit of life.
In addition, rather than praying and fasting before an unresponsive God, please allow them to accept one other with the love given only by the living God and let the peace of Christ rule their bodies and minds.
Therefore, may they become a nation that rejoices only in the name of Jesus Christ and praises and worships the Lord!
Would you restore and raise them up as a nation of Arab high priests who proclaim that joy among all Arab peoples!
