As Turkey supported Pakistan, an Islamic brother country, during the armed conflict between India and Pakistan, a strong anti-Turkish movement is spreading within India.

According to the Times of India and other sources on the 20th, the All India Consumer Goods Distributors Federation (AICPDF), which supplies goods to 13 million small grocery stores in India, issued a statement the previous day and announced that it would begin an indefinite sales ban on all Turkiyesan products, including widely sold Turkiyesan chocolates, jams, biscuits, and cosmetics in India.

The AICPDF said the move would affect food products worth about Rs 20 billion (US$ 330 billion).

According to Indian trade statistics, India imported $81 million worth of Turkish clothing last year.

In addition, the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh has announced plans to request a ban on imports of Turkish apples worth $60 million (about 84 billion won) annually.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned India's attacks and expressed solidarity with Pakistan as armed clashes broke out between the two countries.

Here, India suspects that Turkey has provided various types of weapons support to Pakistan.

This has led to a nationwide anti-Turkish movement.

Lord, we hear that a strong anti-Turkiye movement is spreading in India due to his support for their Muslim brother, Pakistan, during the armed conflict between India and Pakistan. May the hatred and anger toward Turkiye melt into the love of Jesus as a boycott of Turkiye goods spreads in India. We ask that You would lead India, which has been at odds with Turkiye since the ceasefire with Pakistan, to forgive and embrace Turkiye with the love of Jesus so that this situation does not escalate into greater force. We ask that the Indian church would not join the boycott, but would be the first to show love and forgiveness, and that churches would be established that love Turkiye with the gospel and quell the anger that fills India.

May the power of the gospel lead to voices of prayer for the Turkiye instead of anger against them echoing across the land! May India be a nation that now hopes and longs for the coming of God's day. May it be a nation that waits with expectation for Jesus to come on the day He promised. May the gospel of life be preached among Indian souls who do not know Jesus. We pray that the global church will send evangelizers into the land of India, so that India will be a nation that looks forward to and prepares for the coming of Jesus!
