Pakistan, where a series of recent terrorist attacks have occurred, protests demanding an investigation into the truth have taken place, and 260 people have been arrested by the police.

According to AFP on the 9th (local time), protests took place in 10 cities in Balochistan Province in southwestern Pakistan the previous day, demanding an investigation into the recent series of terrorist attacks.

The Balochistan National Party (BNP) called on all parties, regardless of political ideology, to unite and identify those behind the attack.

"Isn't all this the responsibility of the state?" said BNP leader Akhtar Mengal. "It is the state's duty to protect innocent citizens."

In particular, in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province, police responded with harsh suppression, including firing tear gas, when protesters blocked the road.

"The government has already warned protesters that 'peaceful protest is a democratic right, but they have no right to block roads or obstruct vehicle movement,'" senior Pakistani police officer Muhammad Baloch told AFP.

Pakistani police arrested 260 protesters in Balochistan province the previous day, AFP reported.

Earlier on the 2nd, a bomb exploded in the parking lot of a stadium on the outskirts of Quetta, killing 15 people and wounding 30.

At the time, hundreds of BNP members were leaving the venue after a memorial service marking the anniversary of the former governor's death.

The extremist militant group Islamic State (IS) later claimed responsibility for the bombing.

On the same day, a bomb attack on a military convoy near the Iranian border in Balochistan province killed five people, and a suicide bombing targeting a military base in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa killed six people.

Rebels, including the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a separatist armed group, have continued to commit terror attacks, claiming independence and accusing the Pakistani government and foreign capital of exploiting the region's resources.

In response, the Pakistani military is also launching a large-scale suppression operation, resulting in a series of bloodsheds.

Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:55-57)

Lord, we hear that protests demanding the truth behind the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan have erupted. Please watch over and protect Pakistan, where ongoing terror and demonstrations have led to bloodshed.

May the Baluchistan people, who demand separation and independence in the name of terrorism, look not to earthly things but hope for the kingdom of God. Grant the Baluchistan people true freedom in you, Lord.

May the Gospel be proclaimed to Pakistan and the Baloch people, who are in death and fear. May they become one in You by looking to our Lord, who overcame death's power and triumphed through the Gospel.

May the churches in Pakistan become a refuge for those who have lost their homes to terrorism, and may they serve the hopeless with the heart of Jesus.

We believe that when Pakistan rises up with the Gospel, it will become a nation victorious with the Lord who conquered death. May Pakistan, together with the Baluchistan people, proclaim the Lord's victory among all nations!
