[Ramadan 2025] Day 21, Night of Power

Updated: Mar 21

The 2.1 billion Muslims around the world who believe in the religion of Islam believe that they will stand before the judgment seat of Allah when their lives end. The 2.1 billion Muslims around the world who observe Ramadan fasting for the forgiveness of their sins are preparing for the ‘Night of Power’, the one day during the 30 days of Ramadan when they believe their prayers will definitely be answered.

The ‘Night of Power’ is the day when Muhammad, the founder of Islam, is believed to have received the first verse of the Quran from Allah. It usually takes place from the night of the 27th day of Ramadan until the early morning of the next day. Even during Ramadan, it is considered to be the most important day of the year.

The Quran records, “The Night of Power is better than a thousand months,” and “On this night, angels descend upon the earth at the command of Allah.” Even Muslims who do not usually fast during Ramadan come to the mosque on this day to pray for forgiveness of their sins, do good deeds for the poor, and strive to purify their actions.

On this day, when they believe that all their sins can be forgiven with just one day of prayer and good deeds, the ‘Night of Power’ is the day when Muslims’ faith is most powerfully revived during Ramadan, when the power of Islam grows stronger.

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

This year, the ‘Night of Power’ in 2025 will be held on March 27. On this night, the enemy who opposes God will further unite the 2.1 billion Muslims around the world in the name of ‘Islam’ and try to capture the thoughts of souls who have lost their identity with their false authority, but we proclaim that the authority to forgive sins and save souls belongs only to the Lamb Jesus Christ who destroyed death on the cross. We will surely see the history of victory where all nations and all peoples acknowledge that only Jesus Christ is the truth and the savior!

The missionaries who serve the Hazara people in Pakistan met the Ibrahim family. Surprisingly, this family had come to believe in Jesus four years ago and had come to Q City in Pakistan from Afghanistan to escape the Taliban. The missionaries on the field regularly worshiped with the Ibrahim family, and the joy of God filled the worship. When the missionaries on the field contacted the family after leaving the city due to security issues, Ibrahim said that neighbors were coming to pressure them to observe Ramadan and fast in the Islamic way. They advised the Ibrahim family to never lose their faith, but they confessed, “We will never lose our faith. Because we made a promise to God. I will worship only God until the end.” Hallelujah!

If the neighbors reported this family for believing in Jesus, they would be expelled from Pakistan and would face danger as they returned to Afghanistan. However, we believe that the history of revival has already begun through this family who holds on to the words promised by God even when hardship and death come! We believe that God will establish a powerful church of God in Pakistan and among the Hazara people that the powers of hell cannot overcome on the basis of the Ibrahim family’s confession of faith!

They will never hunger or thirst again, nor will the sun or any scorching heat harm them, for the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd and will lead them to the springs of living water, and God will wipe every tear from their eyes (Rev. 7:16-17)

Amen! On the coming night of power, God will make anew the 2.

1 billion Muslims as God's people who praise only the Lord! He will wipe away all their tears and they will come before Jesus, the eternal life who will never hunger or thirst again! Lord, let the work of the gospel of eternal life take place in every nation! Jesus Christ, the shepherd, let us follow the Lamb wherever He leads and prepare the way for the Lord to come! May this be the night of power where the victory of the eternal kingdom of God is proclaimed!

[Today's Prayer]

1. We would like to pray together for Christians who believe in Jesus in Muslim regions. As Ramadan passes, the level of persecution and suffering gradually increases, but the brothers and sisters of faith are following the Lord's path, determined to love Jesus even more. God, pour out a faith that will never fall among our brothers and sisters who fight the fight of faith. No matter what suffering comes, may we be victorious to the end with Jesus Christ who has already overcome death. Through their confession and obedience, may all nations look only to the Savior Jesus Christ, and may they praise the name of the Lord, crying out, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb!”

2. We proclaim that the night of power, the time of grace, and the day of salvation have come! The deep darkness of Islam has blinded and deceived the eyes of 2.1 billion Muslims, but those who realize that Jesus is the truth are continuously rising up! Now, may the spirit of lies and death that binds Muslims be broken, and may they see Yeshua, the Savior! May they rise up as a holy people who prepare the way for the Lord’s coming, beyond the people who must hear the gospel! May the army of Yeshua who will take on the final missionary revival rise up among all nations!
