On the morning of the 4th (local time), a missile landed at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel's central city. The Yemeni rebel group Houthi announced that they fired the missile.
This is the first time since the outbreak of the Gaza Strip war that the Israeli military has failed to shoot down a Houthi missile.
According to the Israeli military, at around 9:20 a.m. that day, a missile flying from Yemen was detected, and air raid warnings sounded in several areas in central Israel. The missile landed near the road leading to Terminal 3 of the airport, and smoke was soon observed rising.
Rescue authorities reported that a man in his 50s suffered limb injuries and two women suffered injuries from the shock wave of the explosion, for a total of six people. Ben Gurion Airport blocked access to the airport for about an hour and temporarily suspended takeoffs and landings.

In a statement, the Houthi claimed to have fired a hypersonic ballistic missile at Israel. Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a senior Houthi official, told Al Araby Al-Jadeed television that they had “demonstrated the ability to hit sensitive targets in Israel,” adding that “there are no red lines.”
In a video statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed retaliation, saying, “We have acted against them before and will continue to act against them,” and that “there will be a ‘bang’ not once but many times.”
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz also warned, “Anyone who tries to harm us will be repaid sevenfold.”

Since the Gaza Strip war broke out in October 2023 due to a surprise attack by the Palestinian militant group Hamas, the Houthis have repeatedly launched missiles and drones at Israel while attacking merchant ships in the Red Sea under the pretext of solidarity with Palestine.
In particular, in March, since the temporary ceasefire between Hamas and Israel ended and the Gaza Strip was re-attacked, Houthi airstrikes have continued. In response, the United States re-designated Houthi as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO) in mid-March and conducted airstrikes on over 1,000 targets in Houthi strongholds in Yemen.

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)
After the war between Hamas and Israel, the Yemeni rebel Houthi continued to launch airstrikes against Israel in solidarity with Hamas, and we hear the unfortunate news that a missile was fired at the Israeli capital Tel Aviv Airport, causing injuries.
The Israeli Ministry of Defense warned that it would repay the damage sevenfold, and the conflict between the Yemeni rebels and Israel is expected to deepen.
May the Lord have mercy on Yemen, which has lost its sovereignty to the Houthi rebels and is in the midst of sin and darkness, and grant them faith to come to Jesus.
May the misunderstandings about God that have been hindering the souls of Yemen from coming before God be resolved, and may they experience the true God of Yemen when they earnestly seek Him with a broken heart.
May they experience the power of Jesus to solve the problem of sin that nothing in the world can solve, and may they stop their anger toward Israel and become a Yemeni people who forgive and love with Jesus’ love.
Beyond that, may Yemen rise up as a holy people who spread the gospel of Jesus Christ among all nations.
May the global church pray more for this work so that the true peace of Jesus may come to Yemen and the way for Jesus’ return to all nations may be prepared through the Yemeni people!
May the Yemeni people be restored as children of God and become a people who obey God’s word with all their lives for the glory of God!
Therefore, may the Yemeni people rise up from the ends of the earth and serve the nations as a people who spread praises to our Lord!
