[Field Story] The nation who will fight the good fight of faith and witness the Gospel, Kurd

Hello, my name is Chinar, I'm 16 years old, and I'm a Kurd living in Turkiye.

My father married twice and my mother was the second one to be married out of of them. My mother and I are still living with my father's first wife.

We are not a wealthy family, but my mother has always been the first to reach out and help those who are poorer and less fortunate than herself, and I grew up watching her help others and was often told that I have her character.

One day, as I was going about my daily routine as usual, I suddenly became confused to the point that I didn't want to go to school or meet people for no reason, and I hated it. Unable to do anything about it, I cut myself off from the world and stayed at home all day, binge-watching television and the internet to satisfy my hunger.

But instead of filling the emptiness inside of me, it tormented me more, until I happened to see a program on television introducing Jesus. It made me curious about who Jesus was, and the program's invitation to read the Bible made me realize that I should read the Bible at least once.

One day, while walking on the street, I met my foreign friend again after a year. He told me about Jesus, and I confessed, “I realized that Jesus is my savior and washed away my sins, and I will believe in Him!” My friend rejoiced with me when he heard my confession!

I felt that I should not keep this joy to myself, but share it with those around me, so I shared it with my siblings and neighbors, and now we are all rejoicing and participating in worship together!

Jesus is my savior and eternal hope! Please pray that I will be the one to share this good news with more of my loved ones!

But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. (1 Timothy 6:11-12)

Almighty Lord, we praise You for Your work of salvation in the life of Sister Chinar from the Kurdish people, giving her a spring of water that will never run dry!

Thank You for making Sister Chinar realize that nothing on earth can fill our hearts, and that Jesus alone is our Savior and eternal hope.

May she no longer seek to fill her heart with the things of this world that lead to ruin and destruction, but may she be satisfied with Your love, and may she stand as Your disciple, following after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.

Furthermore, we ask that she be trained in the church body to know God's vision for her to reach the nations, and to be a soldier fighting the good fight of faith, refreshing the Lord's heart.

We declare that through this testimony of Sister Chinar, we will see the nations saved, including her family and friends!

Let the countless generations of YGs who are wandering in the world with an unfulfilled void be raised up into a holy generation that, like Sister Chinar, will rise up with the joy and excitement of salvation and run to proclaim the name of Jesus.

May the Kurdish people, who have been scattered among many peoples and have been in pain and suffering for a long time, be comforted by the gospel preached by Sister Znar, and may they hold on to Jesus, who gives us eternal victory.

And let the Kurdish people, now filled with hope for the kingdom of God, rise up and go forth to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth!
