[Field Story] The last that will become first, Azerbaijan

Hello, my name is Aynol from Azerbaijan.

I met Christian friends out of coincidence at my university and became good friends with them.

They told me about the Bible and that Jesus was the only Savior that could forgive my sins.

Even though I was a Muslim, I was always dissatisfied with the oppressive and discriminatory laws of Islam, and the words I read through my friends seemed to relieve my dissatisfaction with God that filled me at that time.

Especially when I was reading the book of John, I realized how much God loved me and how precious Jesus' love on the cross was.

One day, I watched a movie about Jesus with my friends. I couldn't grasp the suffering of Jesus fully when I was only reading it but when I was watching it, I was shedding tears.

A sorry heart and gratitude for Jesus filled me, and during that time, I also decided to become a Christian who follows Jesus.

Hallelujah! God chose and saved me when I was living in the midst of sin. There is still a lot of opposition at home, but please pray with me that I will keep this faith until the end and become a disciple of Jesus Christ with joy!

So the last will be first, and the first last. Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. (Matthew 20:16,28)

Through Aynol who knew Jesus’ love from the cross, may the souls from Azerbaijan whose lives are wasting away from worshipping false idols turn away from the way of destruction and come before Yeshua their Savior.

The power that changed from death to life will be proclaimed through Aynol's lips to many people and may many disciples from Azerbaijan rise up and come before Yeshua through God's powerful history.

May all people in Azerbaijan know that Jesus who created the heavens and the earth came down to serve the souls and gave Himself as a ransom.

In these last days, as the end is near, may the fire of the Gospel burn quickly to Jerusalem through Azerbaijan, the land of fire, where the last will be the first!
