[Field Story] Türkiye, the Nation that will Proclaim the Name of Jesus Christ, our Healer

(The photo above is unrelated to the content.)

Hello, my name is Eylul and I live in Türkiye.

Due to my parents' divorce when I was young, I did not receive enough love from my family.

My mother was suspicious of me no matter what, and under that pressure, the illness in my heart grew bigger and bigger, to the point where I couldn't endure without daily anti-depressant medication.

At that time, when I was wandering around the world with nowhere to turn, I happened to attend a worship meeting with a Christian friend.

Although I was a Muslim since birth, I always questioned whether the Islamic faith was true, and there I found a love that gave me true peace in my heart.

At first, I sang along the worship songs without even knowing who Jesus was, but surprisingly, the waves of anxiety in my mind seemed to calm down.

As I continue to attend worship services, I came to know the love of Jesus who died on the cross for me, and I felt the illness in my heart gradually being healed by that love.

However, because I have lived as a Muslim for such a long time, there is fear and hesitance to accept Jesus as my savior. If Jesus is truly my Savior, please pray with me that I too can realize that love and grace and that my life can also be transformed.

And Jesus answered them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.” (Luke 5:31-32)

Amen!

Thank you for healing the wounds and illness in Sister Eylul's heart from her family and for helping her understand the true love of Jesus. We praise Jesus, who healed and saved our hearts and bodies with the same love as the four friends who tried to heal the paralyzed man.

Our Lord who is our good healer, Satan is planting lies and putting fear into Sister Eylul’s heart. When this sister proclaims the only word of truth on this earth with faith, may all false idolatry be cast out and may the true freedom and grace of confessing the Lord as King be poured out upon her.

Lead her to forgive her family members that have hurt her, and to love them in the name of Jesus, and boldly proclaim the gospel.

Lord, I believe that there will be a generation of young people in Türkiye who, like Sister Eylul, lived as blind Muslims, but whose hearts will be healed by the love of Christ and who will kneel and worship before the Lord.

Now, let your young people from Türkiye rise up like the morning dew, who will passionately devote themselves to the Lord and give their lives to serve all nations!
