[Field Story] Palestine, who will prepare the Lord’s return as witnesses of Jesus

(The above photo is unrelated to the content) Hi, my name is Faraja and I live in Palestine.

I have a close Jewish friend, and despite the different languages and backgrounds that make it hard for us to connect, we grew comfortable with each other and have developed a deep friendship.

One day, the Jewish friend came to visit me, and we came across Christians on the street who approached us, asking how we have become friends. And we ended up spending a long time together, having conversations.

During that time, the Christian friends shared about Jesus, and my Jewish friend spoke up saying that she knows Him, and shared her story of meeting Jesus in her dream.

She confessed that when she met Him, she could feel that He truly loved her. I got curious about Jesus from then on.

I still can’t get off my mind the bright smiles of the Christian friends when they were explaining about how Jesus died for me, and resurrected to live with us forever.

I really want to experience the Jesus that my Jewish friend and my Christian friends encountered.

If Jesus is truly alive, I want him to meet me that I may experience his love too.

Please pray for me.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

Our loving God, we thank you that out of your love for Sister Faraja, you gave her an open heart and made her hear about Jesus through the Christian and Jewish friends.

Just like Jesus came to the Jewish friend in her dream, we want Sister Faraja to meet Jesus who is alive and loves her so much.

You said that those who seek you will find you, and we pray that you will come to her and pour out your irresistable grace upon her, because Sister Faraja has the heart and longs to meet you now.

May our sister come to know the love of Jesus who died on the cross for us and may she accept Jesus as her Savior and be born again as a Christian to live the eternal life.

As your Holy Spirit strongly comes upon Sister Faraja, may she boldly proclaim the gospel so that Palestine would come back to you through her, and rise up as witnesses of Jesus in Jerusalem, all Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth!
