[Field Story] North India that will be made new through faith

Hello, I am Amit and I live in North India.

I was born as a Muslim and studied at an Islamic theology school.

I was so proud of reading and memorizing the Quran and my dream was to be an Islamic teacher.

Then one day, Jesus appeared in my dreams two times.

In my first dream I was falling from a high place but Jesus caught me and saved me. In my second dream, Jesus anointed my head.

After these two dreams I thought that I wanted to be a Christian.

So I asked a Christian friend around me what I need to do to be a Christian, and they explained that I must confess and believe that I can receive eternal life through the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross.

That day I accepted Jesus and became a Christian.

I am keeping my faith and reading my Bible in secret from my family who are strong Muslims.

During the upcoming Ramadan, my Christian friend is encouraging me to go to church together, but I have a lot of fear inside me.

Please pray that I will be strengthened in my faith, and I will rely on Jesus more and overcome all fears!

”So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!“ 2 Corinthians 5:16-17

Father God, who loves North India, thank you for meeting brother Amit in his dreams.

Though brother Amit accepted Jesus and became a Christian, there is still a lot of fear in him.

Lord, would you grow the faith of brother Amit that he may overcome all fears.

When brother Amit breaks the power of Islam and rises, many young people in North India will also break the powers of darkness of Islam and Hinduism!

People proclaim the North India will be a new creation in Christ!

Lord, may North India become new in faith and love you and follow you alone!
