[Field Story] Jordan who will proclaim the love of the Lord

Hello my name is Sama, living in Jordan (sister).

Since I was young, I have been experiencing things that are difficult to explain, such as frequent nightmares and bruises on my body when I wake up.

One day I woke up screaming in so much pain, but my family couldn't stand it and took me to an Islamic leader for counseling.

However, my situation was not resolved, and one day I happened to meet some Christian friends on the street.

Those friends who found the wounds on my body asked what had happened, and when they heard about my situation, they laid their hands on me and prayed in the name of Jesus.

But that evening, the nightmare that had tormented me for years disappeared and Jesus appeared to me in a dream and said, "I love you, my daughter, I have been waiting for you."

After waking up from the dream, as I habitually looked at the bruises on my body, I felt that Jesus' love, which was bigger than these bruises, wrapped around me, and I burst into tears. I confessed my faith in Jesus and received Him.

After this, my whole family came to know about my faith and I was hit, and the Bible I was reading was also torn by my family. It was not an easy situation, but I believe that Jesus is with me.

Please pray with me that the Lord will use me so that the day will come when not only me but also my family will meet Jesus.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands. (Psalm 138:7-8)

We praise the Lord for sending an a messenger of the Lord to preach Jesus Christ to Sister Sama, who suffered from nightmares since childhood, and to make known the love of the Lord through the Holy Spirit.

A sister who used to be sad looking at the bruises all over her body every day is confessing that she believes that Jesus, who healed and loved her, is with her.

May the Lord come upon on the confession of the sister and increase her faith so that she can overcome the suffering and persecution she is facing.

Please pour out the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon her so that she may praise the name of the Lord who revived her even in the midst of tribulation, and use her as a proclaimer.

Through Sister Sama's proclamation, let the family that persecuted her also repent and turn to the Lord. Let the light of truth shine on upon all of Jordan, going beyond sister Sama’s family.

Let the Jordanian people, who worshiped other idols and suffered from not being able to find answers, lift up their eyes and praise Jesus Christ the savior, through the light of truth.

Therefore, may the Arab nations proclaim the love of the Lord and rise up as holy nations who praise His eternal kindness.
