[Field Story] By faith, they will inherit the kingdom of God, Türkiye

Hello. I am Türkiye person named, Kerim.

I was born into an Islamic family and have lived my whole life believing that Islam is the truth.

Eight years ago, I followed my friend to church, but with the constant difficulties in my life, I decided to believe in Islam harder.

But recently, I met a friend who took me to church eight years ago again.

He invited me back to the worship gathering, and I became interested in who Jesus was by socializing with many friends in the church.

However, the more I attended the worship gathering, the more deeply rooted Islamic ideas rejected the gospel.

I was confused and tried harder to pray the Islamic prayers.

But my life still had too much burden.

Things did not go well at work, and my relationship with my father became more difficult. The harder I tried to rely on Allah, the more I realized that there was no peace in me, and I fell into great scepticism.

And unlike the Muslims I've experienced so far, seeing my church friends full of joy and peace, I wished I had the same peace.

As I went back to church gatherings and read the Bible and socialized with my Christian friends, I got to know Jesus more deeply, and I became convinced that Jesus was truth.

I welcomed Jesus as my savior, and I am getting to know him deeply by reading the Bible every day.

My old self is no longer here, and I'm a new person through Jesus.

Please pray for me so that I can live in obedience to God's guidance every day!

Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.” (Luke 17:20-21)

Heavenly Father who loves Türkiye, thank you for meeting brother Kerim who was wandering in the midst of life’s difficulties, without giving up on him until the end.

Lord, you are in charge of brother Kerim’s life and we believe you will always lead him.

God, there are numerous souls living in Turkiye like brother Kerim, who are lost and wandering around because they do not know the truth.

They are trying to get the truth in Islam but false allah god cannot give them the truth.

Lord, we desire for the Kingdom of God to be upon Türkiye.

Although they cannot see the faith, as they come before you God with faith of Jesus, allow Türkiye to inherit the Kingdom of God.

By faith, allow them to inherit the kingdom of God and allow Turkiye to be the place where God's sovereignty and rule take place.
