[2026 Ramadan] Day 4: Advancing to the ends of the earth with 500,000 hymns, the army of praise in Indonesia!

Indonesia is the world's largest Muslim country, with 240 million Muslims out of a global total of 2.1 billion. When asked why they fast during Ramadan, most Muslims respond that it's a religious obligation. They accept Ramadan as an integral part of their lives, believing that fasting brings them health and God's blessings.

However, some fear God more than others. They believe that by fulfilling the five pillars of Islam, they will enter heaven. Yet, paradoxically, the more they focus on legalistic rules, the more they feel burdened by religious obligations, which become a cycle in their lives. Nevertheless, there are also those who, despite their fasting sensitivities, are grateful for the opportunity to naturally discuss religious matters, making it a great time for evangelism.

"He did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross" (Philippians 2:6-8).

Amen! During this period, we and the local church in Indonesia want to follow Jesus' example, emptying ourselves, humbling ourselves, and obeying until the cross, praying and meeting with and serving Indonesian Muslims. Lord, may a new day dawn!

Above all, after last year's ASEAN Mission Camp in Indonesia, another one will soon take place this year. As Muslims unite as a community under their God's command, the Indonesian church, a member of the ASEAN church, is mobilizing churches of all ethnicities to prepare for the mission.

Particularly, we believe that through the Indonesian youth who declare, "If I die as a single grain of wheat, the Indonesian church will rise up!" many fruits will surely be borne.

We pray that during this ASEAN Mission Camp, the gospel will pour out to souls perishing without it, and God's heart for the nations will be poured out, leading to a new wave of sending out those who surrender their lives to obey the Great Commission on earth.

We praise the Lord for allowing Indonesian Muslims, who confess Jesus as their Savior, to advance quickly, and for raising up a mighty army of 500,000 hymns in the Indonesian church, which He has already established!

[Today's Prayer]

1. Lord, thank you for allowing the global church to pray! Through these prayers, may the grace of knowing Jesus Christ, who became the only way of salvation by dying on the cross, be bestowed upon Muslims! May the long-held lie that "obeying the law brings forgiveness of sins and blessings and leads to heaven" be torn down, and may the Indonesian people kneel before the cross-shaped love of Jesus Christ! May Jesus Christ alone be the Savior of Indonesia, the hope and power, and the King who will return again!

2. Lord, may the Indonesian church follow the path of emptying ourselves, humbling ourselves, and obeying until the cross! May Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, now rise up as a powerful army of 500,000 hymns, serving Muslims in other nations, and accelerate the sending out to the nations! May the ASEAN Mission Camp, in which the Indonesian and ASEAN churches are mobilized, pour out the final revival and missionary outpouring, accelerating the sending out to the nations!
