[2024 Ramadan Day 30] The last discipleship movement, Back to Yeshua, Israel – Palestine

Palestine means "the land of the Philistines”, they use Arabic as their language and the religion is 98 percent Islam. The population is about 5.2 million people, 3.2 million in the West Bank and 2 million in Gaza. Palestine is a city that has historically important cities such as Bethlehem, where Jesus was born, Samaria and Hebron, where Jesus served.

Israel means, "Competing against God, God is ruling," which is the combined area of Gyeonggi Province and Gangwon Province in Korea and is located in the Mediterranean Sea. The language is Hebrew, and the religion is 75 percent Judaism and the population is about 9.2 million. Although Jesus came to the land 2,000 years ago, Jews did not recognize him and crucified him. Jews still await another Messiah 2,000 years later to save them, calling him "Yesu," which means a curse that should be forgotten forever, not Jesus' original name "Yeshua.”

During the month of Ramadan, which begins on March 10th, the fasting of Ramadan will be held from sun rises till sunset. Among the local Muslims who will keep Ramadan this year, they are showing their determination to restore Gaza. The Al-Aqsa Temple in east Jerusalem is a place where Judaism, Islam, and Christianity all consider the temple to be sacred. Hamas used the name of the Al-Aqsa Temple as its operation name during its surprise attack on Israel on October 7 last year. Every year during Ramadan, there have been large and small armed conflicts between Israel and the Palestinians under the pretext of "protecting the holy land.

Israel was set to strongly restrict Arab residents' access to Al-Aqsa Temple, one of the three holy sites of Islam, in East Jerusalem, during Ramadan, which begins on March 10. But after discussions, it has shifted to strictly restricting the access of certain Muslims. It reported that a fixed number of people between 50,000 and 60,000 would be allowed during Ramadan, and that the number could rise further if no security incidents occurred.

The ongoing war between Israel and the Hamas-led Palestinian militant group began on Oct. 7, 2023, with Gaza's armed invasion of Israel. Israel responded with a counterattack and officially declared war on Hamas on 8th of Oct. 2023.

In the early morning, hostilities began with rocket fire on Israel and vehicle-borne incursions into Israeli territory. At least 1,300 Israelis were killed, including Hamas breaking through the Gaza-Israeli Wall and attacking nearby Israelis and military installations, and a massacre at the 'Super Nova Echo Festival' music festival near Lame Kibbutz, one of the Jewish feasts.

Attacked by Hamas, a couple from southern Israel travels the world to share the horrors of war. "The distance to hell was just 25 centimetres (thickness of air raid shelters) and it was too close." Hamas destroyed their homes, set fire to their house and the houses were burned to the ground. They said they have lost everything, but it is time to end the tragedy through talking to each other. "It hurts to see the damage to civilians in Gaza. They used to be our neighbours." "We want peace for both Israel and Palestine. A real peace without tension and fear."

Hamas's invasion quashes Israel's armed forces inside Gaza. Gaza's Rafa currently has an estimated 1.2 to 1.3 million refugees, most of whom live in tents, and rents are soaring as the population grows denser. Refugees are extremely tired because they do not know when there will be air strikes, food, water, and more. One refugee says, "I'm staying near a cemetery. It's painful to live now. I think the dead are better off than us!" People who lived and worked in the West Bank with the right to enter Israel before the war, have lost their jobs, making it difficult for them to engage in economic activities in the West Bank, and operations have been taking place everywhere targeting key figures linked to armed groups.

However, in the midst of this, the Lord is making history with a new work that has never been done before in the church bodies. Immediately after the war, there were many gatherings in Israel where Messianic states (Jewish Christians) and Arab Christians unite to worship and pray together. Some came to urgent psychics in difficult times, and more worship for the Lord and worship and prayer for Nirvana are being held in the middle. After the war, there were people accepting Jesus in the Palestinian church community every month.

Also, as our body was connected to various Arab churches in Israel, we shared God's vision, and we are preparing worship gatherings for the nations and mission training. At this time, we praise the Lord for starting a new revival by uniting the churches and its members with God's vision.

For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility

For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. (Ephesians 2:14, 18)

[Today’s Prayer]

1. Please pray as Israel, Palestine, and Gaza all seem to have become the darkest due to the war, but the light of God's glory is shining on this earth so that all sin and death powers will depart and shine the light of life in the hearts of all souls.

2. We declare that these two nations have become harmonious through the cross. Let the enemy perish and the war end quickly, and shine a light on the descendants of Isaac and Ishmael, so that they may become a nation that goes to the Father in the truth and in one Holy Spirit.

3. Please meet souls desperate for truth during Ramadan, pour out the faith to hear the gospel and believe in the truth, let the Holy Spirit of Truth be in the midst of all men to destroy all Islamic ideas and false religions, and let the history and spiritual breakthrough take place during Ramadan.
