[2023 Ramadan Day 26] The Arab Key that will Open the Doors of Heaven, Lebanon!

Lebanon is part of the land of Canaan, which God called a land flowing with milk and honey, the only land where cedar trees grow that Solomon used for the pillars of his temple in Jerusalem, the site of Jesus' ministry 2,000 years ago, and the biblical setting where the Apostle Paul and the Christian community were active. It is the only one of the 22 Arab countries that has not chosen Islam as its state religion, and although it claims to be Christian, it is actually dominated by Maronites, Orthodox, and Catholics, with evangelical Christians making up only about 1% of the population. Since the 1980s, Lebanon has suffered a long period of civil war due to political rivalries, and since 2020, the country has been struggling with a huge national debt, high unemployment, ongoing protests for a new regime, the coronavirus pandemic, explosions in the capital's harbor, and rising inflation due to the value of the dollar. The Lebanese people are suffering due to economic collapse.

“So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army. Then he said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are indeed cut off.’ Therefore prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will open your graves and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will bring you into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people." (Ezekiel 37:10-13)

God has already given the breath of life to Lebanon to become a very large army. However, still the people say that our bones are dried up, we have no hope, we are wiped out. When we ask the young generation, 'What are your dreams, what do you hope for,' they say, 'Dreams are a fraud; hope is to leave this place.' Even those who faithfully bow before the God they believe in and observe the laws they are supposed to follow, when asked, "What does your God say about salvation?" they answer with empty, sad eyes, without any assurance of salvation, "God willing”. During the month of Ramadan, 2023, when the people of Lebanon will be groaning in pain due to the circumstances they see with their eyes and will be reaching out even more desperately to the God they believe in, we call upon them with our prayers and supplications to have God open the graves of this massive army and rise! We want to proclaim God's word. We believe that when we do this, God will cause them to awaken from the grave and come out, so that Lebanon will now know that our only God is their God.

“Is it not yet a very little while until Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be regarded as a forest? In that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book, and out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind shall see. The meek shall obtain fresh joy in the Lord, and the poor among mankind shall exult in the Holy One of Israel. For the ruthless shall come to nothing and the scoffer cease, and all who watch to do evil shall be cut off, (Isaiah 29:17-20)”

It will not be long before Lebanon is turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field into a forest, and the time is now. The youth of the nation are coming together to worship and discover what God wants for the nations. Brother S, who was a Muslim, said, "We will be disciples of Jesus and live the way he leads and wants us to live. As he taught, we will take our cross and go to the ends of the earth.” “The Lebanese church will obey the word of God” the small group of young generation confess to save the lost souls by going to the nations. Sister T, who grew up in a Christian background, decided to go to the nations to share the gospel with people who did not know Jesus, and after going to the nations, she confessed what God had done there, saying, "Now I will not go where I want to go, but where the Lord wants me to go. I will pray every day that He will send the young people of Lebanon to the nations for the sake of the many souls who are dying without knowing Jesus."

Just as a fruitful field can become a forest, if God sees it as a forest, even if there are only one or ten trees instead of a thousand or ten thousand trees, this is the time when Lebanon is being seen as a forest. In that day when the fruitful field is considered a forest, those who have not seen will see and those who have not heard will hear, and the lowly and poor will rejoice and be glad in the Lord their God! The promise of the word of God to the nation of Lebanon is being fulfilled in all the nations through the young generation of Lebanon. An army of a holy young generation is rising up to destroy the ruthless, to cease the scoffers, and to cut off the evil one who watches evil. We shall surely see revival. From fruitful fields of the forests, Lebanon will be part of the Arab revival and open the closed doors with the key of Heaven!

[Today’s Prayer]

1. During the month of 2023 Ramadan, through our prayers and supplications, let the souls of the nations who call themselves dry-bones, hopeless, and dead come out of the graves that you have opened for them. Let them come out of their graves and look to You, who is their eternal life and hope. Let there be a history of the Lebanese people coming to know that the God who gave them eternal things is our God.

2. May the church in Lebanon desire to break the long silence and fulfills the word of God! In that day, it will be fulfilled when the fruitful fields shall be forests. May the church in Lebanon that fulfills the day of revival, the day when the blind will see, the deaf will hear, and the lowly and poor will rejoice and be glad in the Lord their God! Rise up as a church of authority to destroy the ruthless ones in the nations, to cease the scoffers, and to cut off the evil one who watch and practice evil!

3. May the young generation of Lebanon arise, a victorious army that fears not even the powers of Hades. Lord, Let the young generation of Lebanon arise as a mighty army that opens every closed door and advances through every wall. Let the army of the young generation be the army who have the keys to the kingdom of heaven and open every closed door! May they advance from Lebanon to the ends of the earth! Let Lebanon see the beginning of a revival of holy young generation that we never seen before by sending out of young generation missionaries.
