[2023 Ramadan Day 17] 2023 Target 1%, The beginning of the final revival, Turkiye

Around 4am on February 6, 2023, the ground in southeast Turkiye shook with tremendous force. Due to a 7.7 magnitude earthquake many buildings collapsed and caused massive casualties. As of March 12, the death toll has exceeded 50,000, and the World Health Organization (WHO) says about 23 million people across 11 provinces have been affected by the disaster. Even with the help of relief supplies from around the world, the fear of death and trauma of losing family and loved ones have left people devastated, swallowing their grief and expressing the fragility of life with endless tears. This sadness and emptiness has extended beyond the earthquake zone to all 81 cities of Turkiye. Many people are experiencing anxiety and insomnia as the media predicts that the earthquake will expand to other areas due to continuing aftershocks in the southeast.

For he says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Cor 6:2)

The year 2023 is the 100th-year anniversary of the foundation of Turkiye. With the 2023 Vision, Turkiye had great ambitions and aspirations, dreaming of restoring the “New Ottoman Empire,” reviving the Turkic nations and becoming a leader of a new Islamic civilization. However, as if in ridicule of its worldly, futile dreams, Turkiye has suffered the biggest earthquake in history, making it helpless without the aid of other nations. The 11 earthquake-affected areas are still receiving help from world relief organizations. Most people are staying in tents because it is impossible to enter buildings with risk of further collapse. This period may last from 6 months to 1 year, and it is expected that people will experience more difficulties in the future due to hygiene problems, increased crime, and neglect of education. As helpless mortals before the great power of nature, the heart of Türkiye has become extremely poor.

Furthermore, after the earthquake, there is a strong Islamic repentance movement growing through Muslim leaders. They say that this earthquake is “God's wrath,” leading people into greater fear. As a result, people keep Namaz (Islamic prayer five times a day) amongst ruined buildings and gather in tents instead of the crumbling Camiis (mosques) to further promote the religion of Islamic. With no hope, all they can do is pray towards Mecca day and night, asking Allah to save them from death and fear, and perform religious ceremonies with all their strength.

But the only one who can save them is Jesus Christ! As the thirst for salvation increases amongst the souls of Turkiye, the thick darkness of Islam will lose its power and be cast away by the powerful light of life. Countless people from all directions will see the light and return to the Lord, and we will witness the final revival of history!

“But what is God's reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace.” (Rom 11:4-5) In this land, there is always surely a remnant, the 1%, chosen by grace. In 2023, the Target 1% Vision will surely be fulfilled! The time pf harvest has come upon Turkiye. Oh Lord who gives heaven to the poor in spirit, in 2023, may we witness the salvation of 800,000 souls, 1% of Turkey's 80 million! Through the revival of Turkey, all nations will see Your glory. Beginning with the 1% of Turkiye, would You renew the faith of all nations and give us the final revival of history that will not cease until the day of Your return.

1. We praise our Lord who is the savior of the people of Turkiye! Our God who speaks and fulfills those promises, in this time when they are poor in spirit, we proclaim that this is the time of favour, the day of salvation! Would the promised 1% vision be fulfilled in 2023! By 2023, would you raise up 800,000 YGs, the 1% of Turkiye who have been chosen by grace! In 2023, would You give us the final revival of history through the first revival of Turkiye…

2. Now is the time of harvest for Turkiye. The time of great harvest has come in 2023. Would You send workers to the harvest to fulfil the Target 1%Vision. May the YGs of Turkiye, who are thirsty for the truth, hear the gospel and experience real love through the harvest workers. May 800,000 YG remnants who are chosen by grace rise up. Would You send workers from all nations to reap the harvest together in this great revival!
