Hello. My name is Mariam and I am a math teacher in Kyrgyzstan. I am a newlywed. I lived as a Muslim on a superficial level not knowing much about Islam and never having read the Islamic scriptures.
One day, while I was sitting alone in a shopping center lounge, someone came and told me about Jesus. Right then and there, I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior with much joy.
Since then, I have been worshipping and reading the Bible with the friend who preached the gospel to me. Now I want to preach the gospel to my husband. Please pray that after I preach the gospel to him, he will accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. (John 16:24)
Lord, thank You for giving the gospel to Sister Mariam. We believe her husband will also accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior with much joy after hearing the gospel. He will rise up as a faithful Christian who loves the Lord!
May the gospel be preached to all Kyrgyz Muslims who do not know Jesus! Just like how Mariam heard the gospel and accepted Jesus with joy, may many Kyrgyz who hear the good news come back to the Lord and rise up as faithful people of God!
Lord! May Your blessings be poured upon the Kyrgyz Church. Through Kyrgyz Christians who rejoice in the gospel just as Mariam does, please ignite a new revival in Central Asia! Rise up Kyrgyz churches as witnesses of the gospel in all nations! Amen!
