Turkish forces will soon begin crossing over the Syrian border, launching an operation against the Kurdish Militia known as the People’s Protection Units (YPG), in Kurdish-dominated areas of the country’s northeast region.
Fahrettin Altun, Turkey’s Communications Director of the Presidential Office tweeted, “Turkish forces together with the Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA), will cross over the Syrian border shortly,” according to a broadcast on Al Jazeera media.
“The YPG has two choices,” continued Altun, as he emphasized, “Either they leave Syria, or be forced to stop interrupting our mop-up operations of IS.”
Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.
Lord, the prolonged conflict between Turkey and the Kurds has gone out of control as they continue wounding each other. The idols they worship in vain are blocking their eyes and ears from being able to see or hear the truth.
Lord, let their cries of outrage be covered by Your grace and be transformed into the sound of worship. May Turkey and the Kurds reconcile with each other through the cross and worship You together in the splendor of Your holiness! May they unite and serve Your Kingdom together!
May the heart of forgiveness be with them in the name of Jesus Christ! Turkey and the Kurds will only look to you, Lord!
As these two nations reconcile by the love of Christ, this love will overflow into all nations. May your grace be poured upon them abundantly! Amen!
