Two rockets were launched towards Israel from the Gaza Strip in Palestine on the night of October 4th, local time, based on reports from the Israeli press group The Jerusalem Post.
According to the Israeli military, the launched rockets weren’t able to reach Israeli territory but ended up dropping within the Gaza Strip. Nevertheless, the warning sirens sounded, and the level of anxiety has escalated in the northwestern region of Negev, Israel.
Jason Greenblatt, the Middle East special envoy of the U.S. White House, said, “Terrorists in the Gaza Strip launched rockets in an attempt to kill Israelis.
“Hamas (a Palestinian Sunni-Islamist fundamentalist militant organization) and Islamic Jihad (a Palestinian Islamist terrorist organization) are threatening everyone’s security,” he denounced on Twitter.
The death of a Palestinian who was participating in a protest against Israel near the Palestine security barrier triggered the situation. The armed forces of the Gaza Strip retaliated by launching the rockets towards Israel later that same day.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: rejoice! Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
Amen! As you know, Lord, there has been an incident which has caused increased tension and anxiety in Israel.
Lord, Your people, both the Israelis and Palestinians, are still fighting against each other.
You are looking at these two nations with grief, yet still calling them “my people.” Lord, let these nations turn and rejoice in the name of Jesus Christ, who won victory against the enemy!
Lord, would you reign over these nations as their King and help them to love one another and reconcile, conquering the hatred and pain that is plaguing these two nations.
Let them rise up as disciples of Jesus Christ to become witnesses of your work and to preach the gospel boldly to all nations!
Let Israel and Palestine become two nations that together long for the return of Jesus Christ! Amen!
